Hello CoCreators!
Danielle Jenkins Henry on the Growth & Magic of Transitions
As we approach the beginning of a new year, many of us often view this time as a crucial period of transition. This is the time where we are reflecting on the past year, coming up with New Year’s resolutions and planning ahead. This week we had a rich conversation with Danielle Jenkins Henry on this period of Transition, and some ways we might think about and plan for transitions in the future.
Danielle Jenkins Henry, LMFTA is an award-winning wellness consultant, adjunct professor, empowerment coach and speaker, and licensed marriage & family therapist associate. As a former 6-year marketing executive at Microsoft, she draws from personal racial experiences in tech and speaks up to empower the voices of those who have been disempowered by advancing the mental health field and corporate cultures forward in addressing negative racial outcomes and other systemic symptoms resulting from institutional racism. Danielle was a 2020-2021 AAMFT Minority Fellow, is trained in EMDR, and has presented her work at state conferences.
Danielle’s foundational thought is that transition is rooted in transformation. You do not want to miss this discussion as La’Kita, Chloe, and Danielle talk about the three different types of transition, what we should be thinking about during times of transition, and key health indicators of your business.
